Central Illinois Electrical League Trade Show

Every winter, CIEL hosts a Trade Show where industry leaders, members and vendors working in the electrical industry can showcase their products and services. People can explore the latest trends in electrical, solar power and other energy solutions. Annually over 200 people attend this event. The league also sponsors educational breakout sessions free to all attending the event. Some of the most recent sessions include solar power, electrical charging stations and how to qualify for Ameren service entrance requirements.

1. Two Scholarships valued at One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) each will be available for award by the Board of Central Illinois Electrical League.
2. Applicants must be in or entering a course study at their current institution or future institution of study. Applicants must have a cumulative passing score in their current course of study. Transcripts are required. Applicants must be in good standing at their institution of study.
3. A member of CIEL must sponsor the student.
4. Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation with their application. (This can be from a teacher or a sponsor).
5. Applicants must submit an essay. The essay must discuss your interest in the chosen field of study and the occupation that you plan to pursue upon completion of your studies.
6. Scholarships will be awarded in June of 2026 at the Annual Golf Outing.
7. Completed applications are due to the Secretary of CIEL by May 1, 2026. Applications can be mailed to the address listed below or emailed to [email protected].

Applications can also be submitted via this website. All applications will be reviewed for merit.
